These terms cover your use of kiban.alamone.net (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them; if you contribute anything, the section on contributions is the one that matters most. The site is run by one person, non-commercially, from the United States.

What the site is

A reference for used arcade PCB prices, with directories of mods, repair services, system motherboards and high-score records. The site sells nothing and is not a party to any sale. Game titles, company names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the games and hardware. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer, shop or marketplace.

Information only

Prices are collected from public listings and contributions, and classified automatically from listing text, so some will be wrong. Asking prices are not guarantees of value, and nothing on the site is an appraisal. Check anything important against the original listing or with the seller before relying on it.

Repair articles, mod installation steps and hardware notes are reference material. Working on arcade hardware involves mains voltage, hot tools and boards that cannot be replaced; you do it at your own risk.

Other sites and services

The site links to listings, shops, repair services, mod authors and other sites it does not control, and is not responsible for their content, availability or dealings. Repair services in the directory describe themselves: a listing is not an endorsement, and any arrangement is between you and the provider.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and uses Google or LINE (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for what is done with your account. Reviewer and editor access is granted by the operator and can be withdrawn. We may suspend an account or remove content that breaks these terms.

Your contributions

This covers everything you submit: price data points and photos, mod entries, repair-service listings, score correction reports, and edits made with reviewer or editor access.

• Submit only what you believe is accurate and have the right to share. Photos should be your own, or a screenshot of a public listing as evidence.
• Leave out other people's personal information, such as the name, address or contact details of a private buyer or seller. Your own details, like your repair service's contact, are fine.
• Don't submit your own active listing as a price data point.

You keep ownership of what you contribute. By submitting it, you give the site a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, publish and edit it as part of the site, and to translate it between English and Japanese and into any other language the site offers.

Every contribution is reviewed, and we may edit, decline or remove any of it. If you want something you contributed removed, such as a mod description, a repair listing or a photo, email us and we will remove it. Prices are different: a price is a fact, and once it is part of a game's price history it stays there. Price data points are never shown with your name. If a price you submitted is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Photos attached to a price submission are used to verify it and are not currently shown publicly. If that changes, the form will say so before you upload.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to reach restricted areas such as the admin pages, or other people's accounts, or to get around sign-in or review.
• No spam, and no submissions meant to move prices.
• Don't overload the site. Automated reading at a modest rate is fine; heavy crawling is not.
• Don't post anything unlawful, harassing, or infringing on someone else's rights.

Content concerns

If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, or that information about you is wrong, email us with the page and what the problem is.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its information, including purchase decisions and work on hardware.

Changes and translations

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The English version of these terms is the governing text; other versions are translations. If a translation differs from the English, the English version applies.
